Wattyl has grown from humble beginnings in 1915, operating successfully through two world wars, the Great Depression and the boom of the 1950's right through into the new century.
Wattyl produces a broad range of paints, varnishes, stains and special purpose protective coatings. Our products are used in domestic, commercial and industrial coating applications.
Throughout the past century, Wattyl has built the business on innovation, producing numerous technologically advanced market leading products to suit Australian and New Zealand market conditions. Wattyl continues to research and develop products for the future.
Wattyl started a new chapter in 2010 and is now fully owned subsidiary of Valspar Corporation, a global leader in the paint and coating industry. Valspar has been operating since 1806, has global sales of $3.5 billion, and more than 10,000 employees.
